Ur is a compilation of symbolic images all of which represent the same thing, the beginning of life on this earth. It's a coglomeration of notions harboured by various cultures concerning how we came to be on this planet. This sculpture is carved from a yellow birch rootm carved upside downm and measures roughly 5.5ft high by 4ft wide by 4ft deep. Ur resides in East Gwillembury, Ontario.
