This Phoenix carving was commissioned by a young businessman who had experienced a number of ups and downs in his business and in his marital life. Each time he was able to return from his own ashes so to speak. The phoenix became his symbol. This sculpture is carved from black walnut wood and measures roughly 2ft high by 3.5ft wide by 1.5ft deep.
