Journey

Journey was commissioned by a former teacher colleague who came into a financial inheritance. To celebrate this, she wanted me to carve something reminiscent of those things her family loved most I.E. cats, flying, ocean voyages, the sea and its creatures and each other. She had a very strong bond with her daughters.

There is symbolism in this piece reminiscent of all of these.
