This image is taken from a South American Indian myth about a blind boy that was taught to see again by a mythical creature called the sun pony.

This piece is about 2 ft 1/2 in high and about 20 in diameter at the base. It is carved from a solid chunk of hard maple and was purchased by the Wilsden gallery in Courtney B.C. which displayed it.
